$1M view, great spot to stop, make food and rest. Toilets are available. A sign says that you should not stay here for the night, instead, go to the nearest camping, but it doesn’t say that camping is forbidden 😉 My photos were made in this exact spot, so you can judge the view yourself.

Totally worth to stop here for restroom and take photos of the amazing landscape before you go up to the glacier hike. Just mindful that there might be lots of bus tourism come and go. But if you are patient, you will get the $1M photo!

Absolutely beautiful spot for sightseeing — the views were breathtaking and well worth the visit. It’s a great place to take photos and just soak in the scenery. Highly recommend stopping by if you’re in the area!

We went on the glacier sightseeing bus which basically takes you along the edge of the fyord to a glacier. However, the glacier is so far away you can hardly see it! If you have nothing better to do in Olden then it's a nice trip for scenery but nothing spectacular.

Info Camperisti : Area di parcheggio davanti al fiordo con vista fantastica sullo Jostedalsbreen che si riflette sulle sue acque turchesi. Il parcheggio misto è su fondo in asfalto e consiglio di fermarvi perpendicolarmente alla strada per permettere ad altri di parcheggiare. C'è anche una piccola panchina dove potrete riposarvi ammirando il panorama. Come unico servizio vi è una toilette da cantiere utilizzata dai turisti dei bus che qui si fermano per una piccola sosta fotografica e per questo motivo sono molto sporchi. Gli autobus delle navi da crociera arrivano alla mattina verso le 10 per cui il parcheggio è idoneo anche alla sosta notturna.

Arrived by coach whilst it was quiet, a lovely waterfall sits just behind the parking area. A couple of small toilets are available for use. The highlight is the colour of the lake water!
