Lovely people on a wonderful mission. Our daughter (10) started piano one year ago with OIPS, and we’ve all been very happy with the experience. Her teacher, Romolo, is engaging, creative, and patient. He makes learning fun. She looks forward to getting back to piano after the summer.

Personally, I have appreciated Emilia’s energy and attitude in directing the program. Her enthusiasm is contagious. She welcomes the kids to make mistakes without fear. What’s most important is that they have fun with it and want to try! I’m grateful that this is the way my daughter is beginning her connection with music.

Cannot recommend this piano school enough. The teachers are very professional, respectful, and highly skilled. Our children look forward to their piano lessons every week and very much enjoys learning from their teacher. We are happy to witness the results of the pupils' musical journeys and appreciate the frequent events organized by the piano school.

Great academic teachers and passion for teaching from all instructors. The school also goes beyond teaching, by creating a community of piano / music / culture enthusiasts with regular activities within Oslo related to the Arts (e.g. Opera, Ballet, concerts, etc.).

The teachers are wonderful and my 6 year old has been taking lessons for the past 18 months, with the instructors teaching her in her preferred language. They are great with kids and with the academic process, and make learning a joy for her. I highly recommend this piano school!

I've been a student for around a year and a half, and I've had a great experience! My teacher (Grace Oh) has a perfect balance of motivating me but also pushing me to become better lesson after lesson. I've also learned to enjoy my practice, and know how to practice on my own having fun along the way. Emília, the director, is very engaged and involved, and finds interesting events for the students to participate in. I'd highly encourage anyone wanting to learn piano in Oslo to check the Oslo International Piano Studio, both children and adults of any age!
