Hesla Farm in Gol was a delightful and memorable stay. We were warmly welcomed by the lovely host. Her hospitality was genuine and kind from the very first moment.

She offered us two different accommodation options in the barn, both beautifully renovated with modern interiors that exceeded our expectations. The facilities were excellent, including clean indoor toilets and showers.

Breakfast was announced in a charming way — with a traditional farm bell. The meal itself was thoughtfully prepared according to the number of guests staying at the time. While the portions were not unlimited, the food was plentiful and more than enough.

Overall, the experience left us with warm and positive feelings. Hesla Farm is a perfect mix of rustic charm and comfort, and we would gladly return.

Absolutely a perfect stay and experience at the Hesla Farm. Great historical accommodations with necessary updates. Incredible breakfast with service to match!
Perfect location just outside of Gol center. Hope to come back for a future stay!

Wir sind zufällig auf der Heslafarm gelandet und haben glücklicherweise noch ein DZ für eine Übernachtung bekommen. Es war fantastisch!! Wir wurden liebevoll empfangen, die gesamte Farm ist mit ganz viel Liebe zum Detail gestaltet und hat uns sehr beeindruckt. Das Frühstück war unschlagbar! Obwohl wir zeitig aufbrechen mussten, gab es frisches, selbstgebackenes Brot, Waffeln, Käseauswahl, etc.... es fehlte an nichts. Unschlagbar war die Chefin, so charmant, so herzlich und liebevoll. Wir kommen wieder und dann auch gerne für etwas länger.

Sehr guter Service. Wunderbares Haus. Bestes Frühstück, das wir im ganzes Urlaub hattet.
Die Hütte war zwar recht klein, aber gemütlich und 4ü0 Jahre alt!
So haben wir noch nie übernachtet.
Der Hahn wird nie mein Freund werden aber gehört zu dieser Farm dazu!

A Magical Stay in the Historic Stabbur from 1632.
Staying in the stabbur from 1632 was like stepping into a time capsule. We woke up to the sound of the rooster crowing and watched hens gracefully wander around the courtyard – a peaceful and charming start to the day.
Breakfast was delicious, fresh, and served in surroundings that felt like returning to our Norwegian roots. The atmosphere was indescribable – rustic, authentic, and deeply grounding. It was more than just a stay; it was a journey back in time.

Thank you for an unforgettable experience. Highly recommended to anyone seeking tranquility, history and a genuine connection to nature and tradition.

Zeer gastvrije host, schattig en keurige accommodaties. Het ontbijt is veelzijdig en veelal zelf gemaakt door de gastvrouw.
Ook voor gezinnen met kinderen een aanrader door de vele dieren op de farm.
De setting van de tuin is zeer idyllisch.
Het dorp is op loopafstand met veel eetgelegenheden en winkels.

Hesla Farm er en dejlig fredfuld oase i Gol. Vi forventede ikke meget af byen, men blev meget positivt overraskede, da vi kom til Hesla Farm og de venlige mennesker der. Hytterne er velholdte og hyggelige ligesom alle fællesarealerne i haven. En god oplevelse ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️

Ikke betal for oppholdet på forhånd. Selv om du avbestiller innenfor reglene deres, så får du aldri pengene igjen til tross for mange løfter. Jeg måtte reklamere til Mastercard for å få mine penger tilbake. Skikkelig elendig opplegg.
