We were there to visit the Rolf Nesch museum. Small but worth it. Interesting story, beautiful art. A bit unfortunately, the documentary is only in Norwegian.

This is a beautiful place up on the hillside next to the shopping mall. The theater here is of an international standard with a large stage with good hardwood floors which is good for so many physio AL activities like dance. This is also the cinema for the community.

We were surprised by storm Hans (August 2023). With the roads blocked and no hotels available, we were accommodated in the cultural centre of Al. Thank you to all the people who made our stay as pleasant as possible. The cultural centre became a reception centre for tourists and people from the village evicted from their homes due to the risk of detachment. Cheer up and again THANK YOU everybody who make it possible.

Vi traff ei veldig hyggjeleg dame på den nye Rolf Nesch-utstillinga som er basert på Tingenes tilsynekomst på Ål kulturhus. Fantastisk flott utstilling, det er òg absolutt anbefalt å ta turen innom hovudutstillinga!

Due to a flood, we stayed here with many people 48 hours. Just say that the Kulturhus team has been amazing, managing the crisis perfectly, also being smiling and welcoming. Congrats to this team and volunteers, and the town hall team. Add that the place is great for its first function: culture!!
