Three-day wedding at Huso Lodge - What an amazing experience. The place, the variety and quality of the buildings, boutique and functional. Fairy tale! Bjørn and Danae and all the staff – top notch! Our guests really enjoyed the stay!

Å arrangere bryllupet vårt på Huso Lodge var uten tvil en av de beste beslutningene vi har tatt. Vi ønsket oss ikke bare et vakkert sted, men en ramme som kunne romme både det storslåtte og det nære. Det er ikke mange steder hvor du kan invitere 110 gjester på livets største hyttetur og samtidig skape en ramme for vielse ved vannet, fest til langt på natt og fellesskap i alle retninger. Men det var nettopp det Huso gav oss.

Hele helgen var preget av ro, raushet og profesjonell tilrettelegging. Vi opplevde ekte omsorg fra Konstanze og teamet hennes ikke bare for at ting skulle bli «riktig», men for at det skulle bli vårt. Vielsen ved vannet var som tatt ut av et eventyr, og det som startet som en drøm på papiret ble til en helg vi og gjestene våre kommer til å snakke om resten av livet.

Vi hadde bryllupet vårt på Huso. Det var en magisk helg. Vi kunne ikke vært mere fornøyde. Det er det perfekte stedet for å ha drømmebryllupet. Kokken og maten er eksepsjonell bra (det var flere gjester som sa det var det beste de hadde spist) De forskjellige områdene og byggene gjør plassen helt unik. Vikinghallen som setter stemningen på fredagen, låven og fest lokalet som topper det på lørdagen itilegg til det flotte området ved vannet for utevielse. Eierne er meget profesjonelle og hyggelig som tilpasser og hjelper til med det som måtte ønskes.

Var på Huso Lodge som gjest, hjelper og toastmaster i bryllup. Fantastisk flott langhelg med varierte opplevelser, alt fra det sjarmerende hovedbygget til låven, Nøkkendome, Høvdinghallen og ikke minst koselige hytter som gjestene bodde i.

Serviceinnstilt personale som ønsket oss en vellykket feiring. En fantastisk matopplevelse, råvarer i første klasse - hovedsakelig fra egen gårdsdrift og omliggende gårder.

Vi giftet oss på Huso 27 september 2025, og det var de nydeligste rammene for et høstbryllup ! Vielsen kunne holdes ute ved tjernet og de hadde en back up hvis det skulle komme regn. Låven var magisk flott, og maten fikk vi sinnsykt mange tilbakemeldinger på at var veldig, veldig god! Vi kunne ikke ha drømt om et bedre drømmebryllup enn her !!

We celebrated a fairy-tale mountain wedding at Huso Lodge in the beginning of May in bright sunshine and 20 degrees celsius together with family and friends. Thanks to the generous and warm hospitality of the Huso Lodge staff and owners, swift response, "can do attitude", and consistently "being the answer, not the problem", the entire weekend became unforgettable for us and our loved ones. The food was - and is - outstanding, the scenery and different venues remarkable - and to all you out there who has always dreamt of a "låvebryllup" / "barn-wedding" - Huso delivers the best. No exclamation point needed. We can easily say that celebrating our wedding at Huso has been the best weekend so far in our lives, and also the best way to celebrate our marriage together with all our loved ones. Unforgettable!

Simply put - The best day of our lives - was had at Huso Lodge.

We couldn’t have asked for a more magical and hospitable location for our wedding. And what a dream wedding it was!

There was a lot of planning and emails back and forth, but Huso Lodge facilitated it for us - always with a smile.

The cabins for us and our wedding guests were all really beautiful and diverse in style, with lots of charm - some old fashioned and cozy - others with a more modern touch, but still cozy!

The location around Huso is absolutely spectacular, especially the lake where we had our ceremony, surrounded by beautiful trees, and with a slightly snowy mountain peak in the background.

The outdoor hot tubs and saunas around the lake, is like an outdoor spa, perfect to combine with a refreshingly ice cold swim in the lake. And then you fire up the fireplace in your cabin in the evening. So cozy!

The Chieftains Hall was so atmospheric and old norse, providing a feeling of how the vikings must have had their feasts. The Barn was romantic and old fashioned, perfect for a wedding dinner. The Earth Dome was fun and had very easy to use audio and light system, and the Banquet Hall gave you the perfect rustique vibe for goodbyes to friends and family on Sunday.

The staff and owners were so helpful and warm, and helped us with everything we requested. They gave us the extra attention to detail so that you feel really appreciated and taken care of. And this care and attentiveness - is genuine! They all really want you to have the best time possible! It’s obvious to us that they are not doing this only as a business, but because they enjoy it, because they are good humans, and because they genuinely care.

Things we didn’t have time to do ourselves, like decorating the milk jars outside the Barn, they fixed for us, without any extra cost and on their own initiative. They (Konstanze) brought the brides maids bouquets to our ceremony location for us when we didn't have time to do it ourselves. They (Caspar) helped us decorate the Barn with drapes high up in the ceiling. They went above and beyond for us - to make it a memory for life - and give us the best start possible, for our lives together as husband and wife.

The food was absolutely delicious. From Friday to Sunday, the extra attention to detail came through and the lengthy, but entertaining stories from the chef himself were provided. Like the story of how they slaughtered a huge pig for our Friday dinner, that they were emotionally attached to.

Read my other reviews. I’m usually strict. I have nothing but positive things to say about Huso. Well, ok, maybe some minor things like one fireplace being out of order, and one sauna not fired up at the agreed time, but that’s more or less it. I even wish I could add something negative to add to the credibility of this review, but even that is hard to do!

Yes, it was expensive, but they were generous and fair with us. And very flexible.

We humbly extend our sincere thanks to Bjørn, Danae and all the staff at Huso. We will be back for more lifelong memories with friends soon, and wish you the very best in the times ahead. You deserve it!
